Right?? We nearly overloaded the shopping cart this year. I always feel bad for the poor cashier who has to ring us up, but we try to keep all the bags of the same type together to make it easier for them. I think the last year I trick-or-treated myself was when I was 11 or 12? I would actually love to go around the neighborhood Halloween night, not to trick-or-treat but just to see what all everybody else has up for decorations and stuff. But I'm always so busy at my own house that there's just no way to do that!
Oh god, yes, so true. I mean we have 300 million people in this country; you'd think we could find *somebody* suitable?? And while I'm not quite as worried about Trump as some people are (I do have a little - hopefully not misguided - faith in the actual workings of government keeping him in check), I am worried about the guy's hardcore followers. As a country I know we've always had fringe wingnuts, like the whole Tea Party movement 5-6 years ago. But we're talking basically straight up neo-Nazis here, *emboldened* ones at that - there's no reasoning with them. Disturbing.
